If your a plumber it is no good having a domain name such as ” www.jonnos-services.com ” is it now. It is better to have ” www.westernplumbing.com ” for example if you are in the western suburbs of a state. The choices go on, but all is explained in the DVD Course for web design.

HOSTING PACKAGES

You need to choose a good hosting package and here are some reasons why.

A hosting package firstly is your bit of ” www ” real estate. It is where your website ” files ” live. If you have a really big website it is no use being in a 1 bedroom apartment.

I had a website client recently that had a hosting package with only 10MB of space allowed. Come on, 3 mp3 songs and your hosting package is full.

You already have a hosting package. 2 things to check is your mb’s or gb’s of storage. The other thing to check is ” bandwidth allowance “. What’s this you say. Well every time someone looks at a page on your website this uses some of your ” bandwidth ” allowance.

So when you have a very busy website, and lots of people are looking at it, you will soon use a lot of bandwidth. If you only have a small bandwidth allowance, then you are slowed down or simply get charged more.
